Ingredients
½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter or ghee
2 cloves garlic, smashed to a paste or minced
57g (2oz) cream cheese
⅓ cup beef bone broth
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (about 60g/2 oz)
Directions
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and garlic. Cook until the butter and garlic are light golden brown, about 2 minutes, stirring constantly, or the butter and garlic will burn. Reduce to a low heat and stir in the cream cheese, broth, and Parmesan. Allow to simmer for at least 15 minutes. The longer the sauce cooks, the more the flavours develop.
- Keep refrigerated for up to 4 days. Reheat in a saucepan over medium heat for about 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
